What counts as success?
What counts as success for you?
Would you be able to tell it, even if it happened?
Where does it lay? In the work itself or outside of the work
In the making of something or in some other kind of measure beyond the thing itself?
Or in what you think/ feel about yourself or in what others think/ feel about you

My design purpose
One keyword for your design purpose: Money
This was the first word that came to mind; one of the main reasons for coming to university and doing the MA is to get a job at the end of it. I want a job that supports my family and me.
Money doesn't cover why I decided to do Design rather than any other university course.
The second word I chose was: Achievement
- Not in the same way as making money but a sense of giving someone else happiness and knowing I did that - whether it's packaging in shops or an advertising poster, a book cover, logo design or a bespoke piece of art such as a pet portrait.
Has this changed since I was 16?
- I didn't know what I wanted to do at 16 so just kept choosing the subjects that I enjoyed and was good at.
- Wasn't ready to go into the working world - now I am (sort of!)
